Finally....SWEET FREEDOM!
Kristel and I completed our first year as new teachers! Whoohoo! A huge accomplishment! Saying adios to our fourth graders and KinderRoos was very tough, but we did it and now we are enjoying sweet HOT summer!
BIGGER NEWS...
Kristel gave birth to baby Owen May 30th at 3pm....weighing 8lbs. 6oz. and 20"! He let her finish out the school year and came at the perfect time!
Me...
This is my first Monday off and so far lined up I have shopping, serious spring cleaning, dog grooming, a bridal shoot of a beautiful bride and all the other stuff I never had time for like sleeping in. painting my toenails. re-arranging my furniture. my TV shows. swimming. sun bathing. did I mention SLEEPING IN? :)
I will be on my way to meet Owen and visit with the rest of the Hester crew real soon, i'll post pics! SO STAY TUNED!

Well congrats on the new baby.. and I hope your shopping went well.. Sounds like you might have had an easier time. haha The best way to do the funiture is to sand it a little before you paint. Then put a coat of Kilz on it before you pick your color. Then if you don't want it to chip off any you can put some polyurithain on it.. But I never really care if mine chips off. ha and I get done faster. ... Good Luck!
